Lists are just borrowed ideas. Real marketing is knowing who you're actually talking to and what they actually want. That requires you to understand your own thing first.
Unfortunately, the "hijack conferences" playbook is becoming harder and harder - the conference organizers know that they lose sponsorship money anytime a guerilla tactic is run, and they're locking everything down legally and logistically.
I honestly think in 2026 rule-based automation is going to matter a lot more. Google is pushing AI Max, Meta keeps pushing Advantage+, and everything is moving toward full automation. That’s fine, but it also means less control.
Platform AI doesn’t really understand your margins or how your business actually works. When you give it everything, you’re taking a real risk.
That’s why I still like having an extra control layer. For me, that’s www.wask.co It’s a small thing, but it makes a real difference.
