Sam leading the response from the toilet seat while on twitter/x seems like the kind of poor decision making a board might take notice of. Best to hand that response over to the professionals they should have on retainer and rehearse the talking points for the next day. Plus this could actually be flipped into a decent ad response, if played properly. Some sort of structural bifurcation between the two needs to be established and this could have been a key strategic moment to make that happen.
I wonder about the last one. The roast is real, but I was talking today with a designer whose dream came true with the latest Figma annoucement... And it's very in line with their ongoing project of replacing the Adobe Suite!
Sam A's response to Claude ads is the classic PR mistake big brands make when a smaller rival punches them. They try to punch back and make it a David v/s Goliath situation. Big brands should always avoid this because Davids always win the PR battle.
Did Notion really take a shot at Figma? I don't see them as competitors though.
Surprised Notion took a shot - seems off brand for them
