Marketing Ideas

I’ve been doing marketing for 13 years. Here are my predictions for 2027 🔮

Biggest trends I’m seeing:

I’ve never seen marketing change this fast, and I’m way more excited than worried.

It might feel like you’re supposed to learn a new AI tool every week (because you are). But most AI tools won’t change much for your business growth. The bigger trends behind them will. That’s why I wrote this article.

I send you marketing ideas every week.

Today I want to zoom out and talk strategy instead.

Fiverr’s CEO told investors last week that the internet is “dying”. People used to search → click a link → land on a website → place an order, and all of that is disappearing:

That’s very true.

I see how marketing is changing like never before in my job, leading growth at Wiz (acquired by Google), and tons of CMOs I talk to tell me the same thing.

Surprisingly - most of what’s coming in 2027 is good news for small teams.

It all comes down to my 7 biggest predictions for 2027, my highly opinionated take on the future of growth.

Now listen:

Every 2027 prediction I’ve read so far sounds the same.

  • ❌ “2027 is the year of AI agents!”

  • ❌ “Influencers are the new billboards!”

  • ❌ “SEO is dead. Long live GEO!”

  • ❌ “Authenticity will win!”

You’ve seen them a million times. I have too. They’re not wrong, they’re just... not useful when you have to decide what to do next.

So for each of my 7, I’ll include a real practical example and the growth move I’d make next year ✅

Plus, I’ll tell you how I’d build and hire a marketing team from scratch (considering AI) if I joined a new startup today.

A year from now, I’ll come back and grade myself on all 7 predictions.

Here’s the most important thing I’ve ever written, and how to win 2027 before it even starts.
