1. Would a person with such AI skills rather want to start his own company?
2. Will big corp give the people they hire the freedom to explore unconventional ideas? Or would they demand that AI follows their processes and yields magical outcomes?
This is so very true! Joining any new or changing "workforce" gets us so "worked up" that it's easy to forget all the things that matter--like who you are, what matters to you, and what you truly want to do in any given situation. My take: Chill out, remember who you are, then start over again. It works for me. Every time. And my bet is it'll make all the difference to you, too.
Thanks, Tom. Interesting article. I'm now retired and play with GPT for ideas. I would've loved AI to be around 30 years ago when in the thick of corporate marketing.
I like the job title, but adoption will take time. Being on the job hunt I have noticed if your job title doesn't EXACTLY match to the job opportunity its seen as a risk. And with AI in the mix you wont even get passed the initial scan. Now this obviously works both ways. But you have to be committed and hope that this job title or others can be recognized as value and progression in your career.
Makes sense that companies are hiring people full time to keep up with AI innovation. With the fast rate of change, it feels impossible to keep up. Soon, there will be whole teams dedicated to keeping up with AI.
I wonder about 2 things:
1. Would a person with such AI skills rather want to start his own company?
2. Will big corp give the people they hire the freedom to explore unconventional ideas? Or would they demand that AI follows their processes and yields magical outcomes?
Option 2 is more realistic 😁
Yes haha 😜

Another banger Tom
"If you think you've been a victim of an online scam or fraud call 0300 123 2040."
This is a frikkin' GOLDMINE of ideas. Thank you, Tom!
Great breakdown! What I like about it is the emphasis on creativity. The field seem so open now - ripe for experimenting

Perhaps not only keeping up with AI, but also creating their own AI applications and systems.
Sounds like Growth hacking isn’t got a corporate rebrand and a six-figure salary 😜
I like the idea of AI Prompt Library. We'll use this in our AI Assistant ActorDO
