You can actually verify in real time that the hashing happens locally on your browser. But honestly, most SSNs in use today have probably shown up in a data breach in the last 36 months, so we should probably rethink how confidential they actually are at this point

Just an FYI, the photos in this are very hard to read on mobile. A more square or vertical orientation would help, especially since Substack doesnt let us zoom in.
