I've done this in the past with mixed reactions. I think "mistakes" when used occasionally would also work for AI generated content just to humanize it a bit more.
Oooof I really did do this on accident the other day doing 1:1 marketing here on Substack to introduce my new community. The link I sent to 4 people had a mistake. One person caught it right away (thankfully) — but the marketer inside me was even gladder she had opened and read the message, and actually clicked. (Mind you, my strategy is to comment on someone’s post starting w something authentically related to their piece; 2 quick sentences introducing the community; ask if they want to learn more. If they say yes, I send the PM with the (apparently) broken link.
