How to take over new countries with $0 and 0 employees 🏴☠️
5 marketing ideas you should steal this week.

Anthropic is paying customers to throw meetups in their city
The program is called Claude Community Ambassadors.
The deal:
You host local meetups, Anthropic covers all costs. They also send swag, give you monthly API credits, early access to new features, and a private Slack with the team.
That’s a fantastic marketing idea.
I recommended meetups & local events in my guide for reaching customers when the internet is 90% AI slop. Friends of Figma was my go-to example.
Anthropic is even better.
And it’s good for acquiring *new* customers too: Someone’s friend invites them to a local tech meetup → they show up → and suddenly they know about Claude.
How to steal this idea: Find ONE customer from each country worldwide. Send them a personal email from the founder. Give them insider status and a small budget. They’ll represent you locally 10x better than any employee could, because they chose to love your product. Let them run local events for almost $0.
